river carp sucker on fly, central Kansas, gorgeous fish

When I first picked up the Recon, it felt heavier and clunkier than some of the other rods in the lineup

The reel foot on this reel is solid and has held up well and one of the parts that I think makes this reel feel a little more solid than its price point would make most guys think about a composite reel

and a detachable shoulder strap
