Abel TR Custom Classic Brook Trout Fly Reel Size 2/3 – Mossy Creek Fly Fishing

Pros Freespool control without losing casting range Long-cast spool fishes like a proper big pit Light CI4+ body for the size of reel Trusted Shimano freespool system Cons Expensive for a baitrunner reel Wasted money if a standard clutch is enough The Ultegra 5500 XTD is my answer for the angler who finds a full 14000-size reel is simply too much reel

Very little pressure is exerted on the reel in most cases, however this is not true for saltwater fly rods and those used for catching large, hard-fighting fish
